Our next meeting is Tuesday, November 13 at 6:30 p.m. at The Shanley. We'll watch a presentation on Street Photography from Canadian photographer Bill Bruce who will join us via Skype. Bill describes street photography as, ". . . Candid scenes of life and human nature. . . a way to show our surroundings and how we, as photographers relate to them or experience them." This fascinating subject will encompass techniques and skills needed to enhance photogaphic story-telling whether at home or in a foreign land. Bill and his wife Pat, who also loves to take pictures, live in one of the most beautiful places in the world — Calgary in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies. Since age eight when he received his first 35mm camera, Bill has honed his photo skills while capturing these awesome, rugged landscapes. Through the years, Bill has traveled the world, taking photos of people, city streets, landscapes and more. Don't miss this opportunity to learn from Bill Bruce!
