Demo by Telise Rodelv
Abstract: Oil and Cold Wax

Telise has produced over 400 paintings using this technique.

"The gift of looking for and creating beauty around me still brings me the most joy in my life. It is my sincere wish that some of the joy and love I feel while creating comes through my art to the viewer; only then do I know I am giving the greatest gift back."

Telise was born and raised in Norway, made her way to the U.S. in her early 20s and finally to Granbury almost 2 years ago. Mid-century modern style is "near and dear" to her heart from clothing to art. She was fortunate to be a part of The Torpedo Factory Art Center near Washington DC, home to the largest number of working artist studios accessible to the public in the United States. Rodelv's abstract, modern art style was understood and accepted in this venue, which afforded her the opportunity to learn from a wide variety of teachers.
