February Granbury Camera Club Meeting

Granbury Camera Club Photographers meeting
(Normally) Meets on 3rd Tuesday...no summer meetings

The February meeting of the Granbury Camera Club will feature the Photo Restoration work of Ed Phillips, Granbury Photography. Join us Tuesday, February 20, at 6:30 p.m., at The Shanley House, Granbury. Ed will share his tips and restoration techniques. The editing skills he uses to do this work may be applied to any photo editing routine, specifically work with color, contrast, sharpening and removing "flaws."

You'll learn how to bring back faded, spotted, scratched and torn photos by using software such as LIghtroom, Photoshop and various filters. Ed will discuss how to load printed photos onto your computer, including those that have glass stuck to them! He will talk about which parts are the most important to repair and demonstrate how to enhance color, contrast and sharpness. Also included are tips on paper to use and other tricks of the trade.

Ed welcomes your photos as a part of his restoration program. Send photos that you would like to see repaired to edphot2009@gmail.com. You may also bring photos to the meeting to discuss with Ed.

Please join us! There is no charge for this fantastic opportunity to learn.
The Photo Show is open through Saturday, February 24 during the Shanley's open hours Fridays and Saturdays 10 - 4 and Sundays 1 - 4. Stop by, bring friends and vote for the People's Choice!
