Digital Artistry

Ken has been photographing beautiful places for nearly forty years focusing on the unusual aspects of larger scenes. The beauty of simplicity found Ken after a rainfall when he spotted a low hanging cherry on a beautiful tree with water drops sparkling and he snapped the shot which was to influence his future photographic endeavors. Ken says, “Flowers and landscapes that have a message have been a favorite of mine since.”  His goal is to deliver that message to the viewer with a focus on light.

Ken says…
I am self-taught with much assistance from traditional artist presentations here in Granbury and many fine photographers on the internet. My artistry has emerged through the digital aspects of photo development. Having worked in the computer world since the 1960’s and possessed a personal computer since 1978, the digital development of photos is where my interest has met the path of least resistance. An interesting and artful presentation of a decent photograph begins after the photographing stage which has also become very automated. I strive to deliver photo art that wows the viewer and turns the dreaded “guess you had to be there” into “wish I’d been there and seen that”.
