2015 SPRING SHOW GUIDELINES
ARTWORK DROP OFF: March 6 &7, noon – 3pm
SHOW DATES: March 10– April 25
Reception: March 21, Saturday, 7 pm
ARTWORK PICKUP: April 26, 1 – 4 pm
LGAA membership dues must be in good standing. Please signup to docent during the show. A docent signup sheet will be available at art checkin.
Artists may submit up to two works for $15 per piece, non-refundable fee.
Works must be original. No workshop or class work. No computer generated art. Use of published photos is prohibited unless the artist produced the image.
Work must have been executed within the last two years & may not have been entered in previous LGAA shows.
No nudes. No late entries.
Show chairman has the authority to decline/disqualify any unacceptable work.
Work must be framed ready to hang with an appropriate hanger/wiring. No saw tooth hangers.
Unframed gallery-wrap canvases must be at least 1-1/2” deep with no exposed staples. Edges must be painted (not white).
Outside maximum length size 40” x 40.”
All artwork must be for sale. Please state a valid price reflecting current market value for your artwork. For any artwork sold, LGAA shall be entitled to retain 15% of the selling price as commission.
All reasonable care of artwork will be given. LGAA will not be responsible for loss or damage to any work while in custody. Submission of an entry to this exhibition constitutes agreement on the part of the entrant to all conditions set forth in this prospectus.
